Saudi Arabia has intensified its airstrikes on different regions of the war-torn Yemen prompting Yemeni armed forces backed by Ansarullah fighters to warn about resumption of their retaliatory attacks on the kingdom.

A senior Houthi official says Yemen will liberate the country's south from the grip of separatists and aggressors led by Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The sides to the Yemeni conflict are to convene in Geneva for the first time since 2016 under the auspices of the United Nations (UN) in an attempt to revive stalled peace talks.
