The president of South Africa announced that today (Tuesday, November 21) the country will host a videoconference meeting of BRICS leaders and its new members about the situation in Gaza.

Russian Ambassador to South Africa Ilya Rogachev presented a symbolic banknote of the "BRICS single currency" to his UAE counterpart Mahash Saeed al-Hamli.

The permanent representative of Russia in international organizations, comparing the BRICS group with Western organizations and examples, said that there is no domestic or foreign leader in BRICS and all members of this group are equal.

CNN Arabic news channel reported that the main topic of the recent meeting of the member countries of the "BRICS" group was to deal with the influence of the West.

South Africa's foreign minister has said that BRICS leaders have agreed on its expansion and they are going to publish their official announcement on this Thursday.
