The recognition of the Islamic Emirate needs the regional consensus. The prime minister of the caretaker government of Pakistan, Anwar ul-Haq Kakar, said.

In order to prepare for the upcoming Doha meeting, the European Union’s special representative for Afghanistan, Tomas Niklasson, said that, he met with a range of Afghans, including Islamic Emirate officials and diplomats.

Pakistan’s caretaker prime minister has asked the Islamic Emirate to work together with Islamabad to strengthen bilateral relations.

The prime minister’s office said that, Pakistani senator Anwaar-ul-haq Kakar was named as caretaker prime minister to oversee national elections.
