Officials in the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum say that the level of interest of foreign investors to invest in the mining sector of the country has increased. They also emphasize that during the last two years, 7 billion dollars have been invested in the country's mines.
Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum, during the signing of the contract for the extraction and processing of seven large mines between this ministry and the winning companies, emphasized that the country's mines are managed and no one can illegally touch them throughout Afghanistan.
Shahabuddin Delawar, Acting Minister of Mines and Petroleum of the Islamic Emirate, said in a meeting with a number of foreign investors that the ministry supports legal investment in Afghanistan's mines.
The General Directorate of the Islamic Emirate Administration has written in a tweet that a Chinese company has shown readiness to extract Afghanistan's mines.
