Afghanistan's envoy to Tehran met Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Monday as his diplomatic mission in the country ends.

Pakistan on Wednesday summoned Afghanistan's envoy to lodge protest over terrorist attack along the Pakistan-Afghan border in which three Pakistan soldiers were killed and seven others injured. 

The US envoy charged with negotiating a potential peace deal with the Taliban has said that he hopes to seal an agreement before Afghan voters go to the polls in July.
