The head of Afghanistan’s Food and Drug Authority and his accompanying delegation left for G5 meeting in Iran.

During an accountability report, Afghanistan will be able to meet more than 50% of the country’s pharmaceutical needs by establishing manufacturing factories in the next two years. Officials at Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority (AFDA) said.

In the opening ceremony of the first domestic drug products exhibition, the General Director of Afghanistan Food and Drug Authority, asked domestic and foreign investors to invest in the drug production sector in Afghanistan.

A statement said, the head of AFDA Dr. Abdul Bari Omar, met with Hassan Shirzadi, the economic officer of the Iranian Embassy in Kabul.
