A US government report has highlighted improvements in the Afghan air force (AAF), as well as areas that are still proving challenging.

Despite of 19 years US and allies strong presence, unfortunately still the Afghan Air Forces have not achieved self-sufficiency. In its recent report, SIGAR has said that the US aids to AAF have decreased.

Afghan security forces have killed 59 insurgents and injured 24 others in military offensives across the country over past day, authorities said Wednesday.
