Currently, five countries are members of this commission: Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and the Russian Federation.
This commission has the position of a national organization for management, and in its activities, the interests of the member countries for the Eurasian economic integration project are the criteria of its actions, and it does not argue its decisions with the interests of one of the national governments. The decisions of the commission are mandatory for implementation in the territories of the member states of the Union.
The basis of the decision to establish the commission is based on the understanding that the five countries together can not only reduce the negative consequences of global instability, but also stabilize their position in the global markets. In the Eurasian Economic Union, it is open to the company of another country; The countries that consider themselves to be part of the goals of this alliance and are ready to undertake the desired obligations.
In its work, the Commission supports comprehensive dialogue with key partners. The first level is the dialogue between the governments, which considers the establishment of effective joint cooperation with the national authority in the process of drafting and approving decisions. The second level of dialogue consists of the direct form of working with the business community.
Depoliticization, balance of interests, effectiveness and transparency constitute the basic and professional principles of the commission's activities.
The Eurasian Economic Commission has taken an active position in the international arena in order to introduce the activities of the Eurasian community and attract partners from the Eurasian and Asia-Oceanic regions in the key convergence processes.
