Mazar-e-Sharif, (AVA)- The new building of "Balkh Bastan" high school costs more than 4 millions Afghanis was constructed by Sweden in Kartah Nour Khoda in Mazar-e-Sharif.
In the school inaugurating ceremony, the Balkh minister of education, Gheis Mehr Aeen, said the new building has 8 classrooms, 4 office rooms, water well, WC and school yard.
4.350 millions Afghanis was allocated to constructing the new building by Sweden, UNICEF and the Afghanistan ministry of education.
The UNICES representative said the organization will help the Afghanistan with training, constructing more schools and heightening the level of education.
He pledged to construct 23 other school in 4 North provinces.
More than 120 shools in Balkh do not have building but 40 schools will have been constructed by the end of this year.
The new building serves 1300 students who used to study in unsuitable educational invironment.
