Disables stage protest to oppose the government insufficiency, ignoring the requests
Kabul, (AVA)- Some disables on behalf of 15 social organizations peacefully protested in Kabul due to being ignored by government.

600 disables gathered in front of the Kabul municipality to get their legal rights.

Haji Ashegh-o-llah, the chief of National Disable Council, said the stage aim to express complains on government failed to deal with the disables rights and their grounds which should be given to them.


Ashegh-o-llah added there are some disables that may be treated so they should be transferred to foreign countries if the government is not able to meet their requirements.

The chief of National Disable Council said not considering the especial way for disables in hospitals and governmental organizations are the example of the disables problems.

Mousof Takid said according to the constitutional law, disables can take the driving license but disables can not driving as long as the Ministry of Justice approve it.

Complaining about the number of councils, the protester said although there are 111 councils to serve the disables, the service of the solely council used to be better.

He added the disables are paid 1500 Afghanis per month but the National Disables council has not done a stroke of work for creating regular jobs.

The Minister of Council ratifies a law that 5% of the grounds and villas, used for recreation jobs, were allocated to martyrs and disables families but the law has never been put in place.

According to the protesters, the protest will be continued unless the government pay attention to the disables needs.
