Etisalat Afghanistan, the official mobile phone company of Afghanistan Cricket Team has backed the Afghan National Cricket Team to perform outstandingly in the next month\'s Cricket series with Ireland Cricket team.
The National Cricket Team left Kabul on Sunday for Ireland to play a series of ODI\'s and four day matches. Winning this series by The National Team gives them a chance to qualify for 2015 International Cricket Council ODI World Cup. The series also serves as preparation for the upcoming ICC Twenty20 World Cup to be held in Sri Lanka which the National Team of Afghanistan is participating for the second time in the Cricket history.
Afghanistan\'s national team has performed impressively in the last five years, moving up from Division five to the Cricket World cup in 2008. In Twenty20 cricket, National Cricket team of Afghanistan has already beaten several Full Member nations and is now ranked ninth, ahead of Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.
