Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Bamyan: Ms. Pamela Kokhtar, the General Officer of the UNDP in the Central Zone of the country, has said in a meeting with the Deputy Governor of Daikundi that the organization’s public benefit projects are ongoing in Daikundi province and assured that UNDP projects will continue in the coming year.
Pamela Kokhtar, UNDP representative, thanked the local administration of Daikundi for their comprehensive cooperation and said that UNDP is working in Daikundi in the water supply, electricity and various other sectors, including the start of the solar system for the Nili Provincial Hospital, the clinics of Miramur, Shahran, Khadir, Sangtakht and Bandar, and the construction of solar systems for 49 schools throughout Daikundi, as well as water supply for the two-pass area of Nili city.
She promised that they will also undertake other new projects in the coming year.
Maulvi Rahmatyar, Deputy Governor of Daikundi, welcomed the UNDP and said that the local administration of this province is a permanent partner of institutions in all sectors within the framework of the principles of cooperation and emphasized that he hopes that this institution will consider the quality and basic needs of the people of Daikundi in its work.
