The exchange of scholars between the two countries will expand relations between the two nations
The Deputy Administrative Officer of the Presidency of the Ministers said in a meeting with the Head of the Muslim Affairs Office and the Grand Mufti of Uzbekistan that the main purpose of his visit to that country is to consolidate and develop relations and access common interests between the two countries.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Citadel, today, Sunday, wrote in a press release that Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Deputy Administrative Officer of the Presidency of the Ministers of the Islamic Emirate, met yesterday afternoon with Sheikh Nuruddin Khaliq Nazar, Head of the Muslim Affairs Office and the Grand Mufti of Uzbekistan.
In this meeting, Sheikh Nooruddin Khaliq Nazar, Head of the Muslim Affairs Office and the Grand Mufti of Uzbekistan, described Maulvi Hanafi’s visit to that country as a sign of friendship and long-standing relations between the two countries, and said that Uzbekistan and Afghanistan have religious, historical and cultural commonalities, and considering this, they can further develop and expand their relations in various fields.
The Grand Mufti of Uzbekistan added that such trips create valuable and significant opportunities to strengthen cultural relations, shared beliefs and values, and this opportunity should be used optimally.
Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy of the Presidency of the Islamic Emirate, also emphasized the expansion and strengthening of relations between the two countries in this meeting, saying that such trips and the exchange of scholars strengthen and expand relations between the two brotherly nations.
Maulvi Hanafi called the main goal of his trip to Uzbekistan to consolidate and develop relations and access to common interests between the two countries, adding that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is trying to create new cooperation based on the existing commonalities between the two countries and to take effective steps in the areas of strengthening relations.
The Administrative Deputy of the Presidency of the Ministers also emphasized the cooperation of the scholars of the two countries on educational and training activities, and on the sidelines of this meeting, he also visited the Islamic Center of Tashkent and the historical and ancient Islamic monuments there.
