Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: The German parliament passed a controversial anti-Semitic resolution to close the way for any criticism of Israel.
According to Anatoly; The German parliament on Thursday passed a non-binding law known as the Improvement of Life for German Jews. This law, which seeks the support of the ruling party as well as the support of other parties, severely limits any criticism of the Zionist regime.
The plan, which condemns the increasing incidents of anti-Semitism in the country, states that Germany has a special responsibility to fight anti-Semitism as a result of the Nazi-era Holocaust.
The resolution prohibits public funding for any organization or project that promotes anti-Semitism, questions Israel's right to exist, or actively supports the boycott movement. According to this resolution, Israel has the right to defend itself within the framework of international law against attacks that violate international law. German representatives also want the government to continue to actively defend the existence of Israel and its legitimate security interests as a fundamental principle of German foreign and security policy.
Meanwhile, many civil society organizations and intellectuals, including prominent Jewish clerics, have criticized the plan and warned that fundamental rights such as freedom of speech, free assembly, freedom of science, and artistic freedom would be violated by this decree.
According to Shafqna, this resolution was passed in the German parliament while this leading European country has not taken any effective measures to stop the Zionist regime from killing more than 43 thousand Palestinians in Gaza.
