Ministries coordinate in the fight against drugs and alcohol

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Prime Minister's Office in X has announced the first meeting of the sub-committees of the High Commission for Combating Narcotics and Narcotics under the chairmanship of Maulavi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of this department.
According to this directorate, the sub-committees of the High Commission for the fight against narcotics and intoxicants, in which the ministries of interior, foreign affairs, agriculture, irrigation and livestock, information and culture, and public health participate, operate in specific sectors.
In this meeting, which was attended by the Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, deputies and representatives of the Ministries of Public Health, Foreign Affairs, Information and Culture, and Interior Affairs, the sub-committees gave information to the Political Deputy of the Prime Minister's Office regarding their activities and achievements. And they shared their ideas and advice about the fight against drugs.
On the other hand, the Political Deputy of the Minister's Office said in this meeting that the draft procedure of the Supreme Commission for the fight against narcotics has been prepared and the activities in the fight against narcotics and intoxicants are carried out in a coordinated and targeted manner.
He evaluated the activities of the mentioned committees positively and directed all the departments to be prepared to report on their activities in future meetings and to pursue their work seriously.
It should be mentioned that the High Commission of Combating Drugs and Alcoholic Beverages in Afghanistan was created and started working earlier in order to coordinate and take targeted measures against the drug problem.
