Axios: The final agreement to establish a ceasefire in Lebanon was not reached
American officials told the "Axios" website that the ceasefire talks in Lebanon have made significant progress, but no final agreement was reached.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: At the same time as the US President's special envoy's visit to occupied Palestine, informed sources report progress in the ceasefire negotiations in Lebanon.

"Axios" news-analytical website this morning (Thursday) quoted American officials and wrote: "Ceasefire negotiations in Lebanon have made significant progress in the last twenty-four hours."

These unnamed sources told Axios: "Washington did not reach a final agreement with either the Lebanese parties or the Israelis."

The report states: "The progress of the negotiations during the last day was enough for [Joe] Biden to send [US President] Hochstein to Israel."
