American officials told the "Axios" website that the ceasefire talks in Lebanon have made significant progress, but no final agreement was reached.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International Service: At the same time as the US President's special envoy's visit to occupied Palestine, informed sources report progress in the ceasefire negotiations in Lebanon.
"Axios" news-analytical website this morning (Thursday) quoted American officials and wrote: "Ceasefire negotiations in Lebanon have made significant progress in the last twenty-four hours."
These unnamed sources told Axios: "Washington did not reach a final agreement with either the Lebanese parties or the Israelis."
The report states: "The progress of the negotiations during the last day was enough for [Joe] Biden to send [US President] Hochstein to Israel."
