Netanyahu
After the announcement of Egypt's plan to establish a short-term truce in Gaza, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, announced that he was against this plan and continued his crimes in Gaza.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - International service: Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, has rejected Egypt's proposal for a short-term ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi announced in a joint press conference with Algerian President Abdel Majid Tebboune that his country has proposed a plan to temporarily stop the conflict in Gaza between the Zionist regime and Palestinian groups.
This plan will begin with a two-day ceasefire and then be extended for ten days, during which negotiations will take place for the exchange of some prisoners from both sides.
The Egyptian president indicated that the proposed plan includes the exchange of Zionist prisoners with some Palestinian prisoners, although he did not specify the exact number.
On the other hand, the Hebrew media, including Channel 12 and the Zionist Public Broadcasting Company, announced that this plan includes the release of four living Zionist prisoners.
Despite the support of most of the ministers of the Zionist regime for this Egyptian plan, Tel Aviv decided to reject this proposal due to Netanyahu's opposition. According to what the Hebrew Channel 12 reported on its website, Netanyahu announced that the negotiations should only continue under war conditions.
This channel stated that the security institutions of the Zionist regime have also supported this plan.
Despite the efforts of Qatar and Egypt to mediate in the past months and presenting numerous proposals to end the war in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners, Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, still wants new conditions, including "the continuation of control over the Philadelphia border axis between Gaza and Egypt, the Rafah crossing in Gaza, and preventing Palestinian fighters from returning to northern Gaza (by screening those entering through the Netsarim crossing in the center of the Gaza Strip),” he insists.
It is said that yesterday in Doha, meetings were held between the Prime Minister and Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Foreign Minister of Qatar, and William Burns and David Barni, the directors of the CIA and Mossad intelligence agencies.
Reuters, quoting an informed source, reported that these negotiations seek to reach a short-term agreement for a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of some prisoners held by Hamas in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners. While Fox News quoted an informed source as saying that the main goal of these meetings is to achieve a ceasefire in less than a month.
The Zionist Public Broadcasting Company announced that the head of Shabak did not join the Zionist delegation in Doha.
According to ISNA, the Zionist regime, with the support of the United States, has started a major war against Gaza on October 7, 2023, which has left more than 143,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of whom are children and women.
Meanwhile, more than 10,000 people are missing, and Gaza is facing widespread destruction, famine and one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, which has led to the death of dozens of children and the elderly due to lack of food and medicine.
