Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Monitoring: Mohammad Yousuf Amin, Executive Director of the Herat Chamber of Commerce and Investment, informed Bakhtar News Agency that these exports encompass animal products, agricultural produce, domestic manufacturing, and minerals. These goods have been exported to neighboring countries, Central Asia, the United Arab Emirates, European nations, and the United States.
Amin further highlighted that the surge in exports is the result of several key factors, including the signing of new contracts, increased mining operations, enhanced domestic production, improved quality of agricultural products, strengthened highway security, and the provision of necessary facilitation by the Islamic Emirate’s relevant authorities for the business community.
He further noted that a large portion of these exports was conducted via land routes, while some were transported through the rail network.
Additionally, traders in Herat have urged the government to further streamline the visa process for businesspersons, enabling them to enhance their export capacity and better access international markets./Bakhtar News
