Islamic Emirate ambassador to Tashkent to be accepted soon/Uzbekistan ready to implement Afghan-Trans project
Uzbek Prime Minister Abdullah Arifov met with Maulvi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy prime minister, and assured him of his country's readiness to implement the Afghan-Trans project, adding that the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate would be officially received in Tashkent soon. Meanwhile, Maulvi Abdul Kabir said that countries and international organizations should accept the Islamic Emirate as the legitimate government of Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Arg page on X-Network issued a statement that Maulvi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy prime minister, met with Uzbek Prime Minister Abdullah Arifov.
 
The meeting was also attended by Mullah Khairullah Khairkhah, Acting Minister of Information and Culture, Mullah Noorullah Noori, Acting Minister of Border, Ethnic and Tribal Affairs, Lutfullah Khairkhah, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Sheikh Faqr Mohammad Mohammadi, Deputy Minister of Enjoining Good, Forbidding Evil and Hearing Complaints. 
 
First, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan said: Uzbekistan was the first country to establish official relations with the Islamic Emirate and now its official relations are based on good intentions and cooperation.
 
Abdullah Arifov stressed the need to expand relations and interaction between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, saying that his country supports Afghanistan's position in important international forums and raises issues that have a direct impact on Afghans.
 
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan added that his country is committed to expanding cooperation with Afghanistan in the economic and trade sectors and will continue to cooperate with Afghanistan in the fields of mining, electricity, agriculture, restoration and protection of historical monuments and sites and expansion of cultural cooperation.
 
He assured of his country's readiness to implement the Afghan-Trans project, adding that Uzbekistan will train 100 specialists in the railway and aviation sectors and provide 500 Afghan students with education in the agriculture sector.
 
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan noted that Uzbekistan provides its experience and facilities to Afghans in order to strengthen the economy of Afghanistan, and also provides necessary facilities for Afghan students and businessmen in the field of issuing visas.
 
Abdullah Arifov added that the ambassador of the Islamic Emirate will be officially received in Tashkent soon.
 
He also invited the political deputy prime minister for an official visit to Tashkent, which was accepted by the political deputy prime minister.
 
Meanwhile, Maulvi Abdul Kabir, the political deputy of the prime minister, welcomed the visit of the Uzbek prime minister to Kabul, saying it showed the development of relations and friendship between the two countries.
 
He said that Uzbekistan, as a neutral neighbor, has always supported peace and stability in Afghanistan and the Islamic Emirate attaches special importance and value to relations with Uzbekistan.
 
Maulvi Abdul Kabir said that Afghanistan and Uzbekistan, as two Muslim and neighboring countries, have many things in common that have provided the ground for the development of relations and cooperation between the two countries.
 
The political deputy prime minister added that countries and international organizations should accept the Islamic Emirate as the legitimate government of Afghanistan and only the Islamic Emirate can represent Afghanistan in international forums.
 
Maulvi Abdul Kabir expressed hope that Afghanistan's presence in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization would be ensured and the common concerns of its members would be addressed.
 
The political deputy prime minister once again assured that no one would be threatened from Afghanistan.
 
Maulvi Abdul Kabir said Afghanistan has good investment potential in energy, transport, industry, agriculture and other sectors.
 
He urged everyone, especially Uzbek investors, to invest in Afghanistan.
 
Maulvi Abdul Kabir added that the Islamic Emirate wants to use Afghanistan's geographical location to promote the country as a regional connecting point and connect Central Asia with South Asia because connecting the region is impossible without transit and cooperation between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan.
 
The political deputy prime minister said that the Islamic Emirate is ready for TAPI, CASA-1000 and other regional projects and the stability and development of Afghanistan will contribute to the stability and development of the region.
