Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations said: The Islamic Republic of Iran strongly condemns these cowardly terrorist attacks that resulted in the loss of life and injuries of several civilians.

He stated: This heinous crime is a clear violation of Lebanon's sovereignty and territorial integrity, the United Nations Charter and international law, especially international humanitarian law. This action must be condemned by the Security Council without any ambiguity and immediately.

Irvani stressed: The Security Council must quickly take measures in response to this criminal act to ensure that such aggressions, which are a threat to regional peace and security, are not repeated. The Israeli regime must be held accountable for these crimes and must not remain unpunished.
