Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: According to health requirements, medicines and health materials are produced by companies with a specific date, but after the expiration date, these spices and health materials become harmful objects and cause diseases, especially cancer.
According to national television, Parwan province's pharmacists' union, in collusion with the administration of food and spices of this province, have collected thousands of old spices and health materials from the province so that they are not available to the people.
At the same time, Fawad Aziz, the head of Charikar town's pharmacists union, informed about the collection of a number of spices from the past.
However, the officials of the Food and Drug Directorate of Parwan province consider it dangerous to use expired drugs and ask people to pay serious attention to the date when buying spices.
On the other hand, the spice sellers of Parwan province say that they consider the right place for their medicines to store and destroy the medicines of the past and refrain from selling them to the sick.
It should be noted that in the first three months of this year, the Directorate of Food and Drug Administration, in cooperation with the Emirati institutions and the trade union, collected more than 20 tons of food, spices, and sanitary materials from the markets of Parwan Province and set them on fire.
