Iran's Interior Minister: The preparations for holding the second round of presidential elections are ready

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: Ahmad Vahidi, the Minister of Interior of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said on the sidelines of today's meeting of the government of this country: We are on the verge of another big election on Friday; The preparations for the elections are ready and although the distance between the first and second round elections is short, we have prepared the preparations and there is no problem for the elections.

 

He added: "In terms of security, we took into account the predictions like the last few elections, which is the fifth election in recent days, and it has been done well in several stages."

 

Iran's interior minister admitted that the elections were conducted with safety, security, competition and participation.

 

This official of the Islamic Republic of Iran said: One of the candidates made a false statement that the governors, governors, and prefects are trying to get votes for a particular candidate, so we must be fair in our words, and I apologize to the governors and government administrators for this unjust accusation. 

 

According to Mehr, Vahidi stated: Right now, the work of elections and the country's affairs are being followed by the officials, and we expected that election ethics would be observed; Of course, we knew that some other headquarters are trying to pressurize to speak out, like they succeeded in a part. We have already announced that the people's vote is right and we will strictly protect the votes.

 

It should be mentioned that the Iranian presidential election was held on Friday last week, during which none of the 4 participating candidates could get enough votes to win; As a result, the election was extended to the second round. The second round of elections will be held between the two leading candidates (Saeed Jalil and Masoud Pezeshkian) on Friday of this week.
