60 foreign citizens, including 10 women, are imprisoned in the country
According to the officials of the prisons regulation department, 60 foreign citizens are currently imprisoned in the country's prisons, 10 of whom are women.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Abdullah Hamdard, deputy policy and professional officer of the Prisons Affairs Regulatory Authority, adds that these people are imprisoned in the country for various reasons.

According to him, there are nearly 20,000 prisoners in the country, of which 1,500 are women.

Mr. Hamdard emphasizes that in the prisons of the Islamic Emirate, by creating the field of religious and modern education, the prisons have become a place of reform.

In addition to contemporary and religious education courses, prisoners in the vocational sector also learn subjects such as tailoring, carpentry, shoemaking and mobile phone repair.

Some other officials of the Prisons Affairs Regulatory Authority emphasize that in addition to coordinating with judicial and judicial bodies regarding the review and processing of criminal cases, it has been decided to amnesty some prisoners during special programs.
