Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Inayatullah Khwarazmi, the spokesperson of the Ministry of National Defense, wrote on the X social network that Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, Acting Minister of National Defense, met with Abdul Salam Azizov, the head of the intelligence and border services of Uzbekistan, on border issues, strengthening bilateral relations. and discussed economic and transit cooperation.
 
The Ministry of Defense added that during this meeting, the Acting Minister of National Defense reminded of the strengthening and improvement of the good relations between the two neighboring and Muslim countries and said: "We have done a lot of work on the country's borders during the past year and we are determined to do so in the future as well.

Also, the Acting Minister of National Defense assured the Uzbek side that the defense and security forces of the Islamic Emirate are ready for any kind of cooperation regarding the implementation of development and investment projects and other sectors with other countries.
 
Meanwhile, the head of Uzbekistan's intelligence and border services assured the Afghan people of strengthening relations with the Islamic Emirate and continuing cooperation in various sectors.
