Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that the United States has publicly likened the space outside the Earth's atmosphere to a battlefield, noting that Washington is making great efforts to develop militarism in the atmosphere and incite Military competition between great powers in space.
Pointing out that the United States has been abusing space technology for a long time, Wang said: "The United States dangerously tracks and follows the spacecraft of other countries, and by doing so, it has increased the risk of collisions in space and is acting irresponsibly."
The spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry also emphasized that Beijing adheres to the peaceful use of outer space and opposes the arms race there, stating: We are trying to maintain security through negotiations in the international community and the peaceful use of legal instruments. Keep it outside the atmosphere.
Wang said: China once again calls on the United States to stop spreading false information, expand militarization and increase combat readiness in space, and accept its real responsibility in maintaining the security and peaceful use of space.
According to IRNA, the commander of the space force of the US Army said earlier that his country is carefully monitoring China's space activities and the possible threat to the US space facilities due to the rapid accumulation of space debris in low Earth orbit.
US Space Force Commander James Dickinson welcomed the overwhelming adoption of a resolution banning anti-satellite tests in Earth orbit at the United Nations, which threatens satellites and space stations by creating vast areas of space debris.
Dickinson added: The US space force now tracks more than 48,000 pieces of space debris in near-Earth orbit, which includes various types of satellites, telescopes, space stations, and surplus pieces of various sizes, while their number was only 25,000 three years ago.
