Enthusiastic participation of Iranian people in the elections

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: At 8:00 am today, July 5, the voting process of the second round of the 14th Iranian presidential election began with the order of the Minister of Interior.

 

The second round of Iran's presidential elections began today (Friday, July 5) in 58,640 domestic branches and 344 branches outside Iran, so that the task of the fourteenth round of the presidential election in this country will be determined.

 

Reports indicate that in different provinces of Iran, the people of this country have gone to the election centers hours before the official start of the election.

 

The long lines of people before the start of the election show the large presence of Iranian people in the second round of the 14th presidential election of this country.

 

It should be noted that the presidential election of the Islamic Republic of Iran to determine the head of the 14th government, which was supposed to be held next year according to the usual procedure, after the helicopter accident of Ayatollah Raisi and his companions and the martyrdom of the eighth president of Iran, one year ahead of schedule, on Friday, July 29, in 58 thousand 640 domestic branches and 344 branches were held outside this country.

 

According to the results obtained from this election, Masoud Pezezhkian with 10 million 415 thousand 991 votes and Saeed Jalili with 9 million 473 thousand 298 votes were in the first and second place, but according to Article 117 of the Constitution of Iran and the articles of the Election Law None of those candidates could get the absolute majority of the votes, and for this reason, the role of the President of Iran will be determined on July 6, in the second round of the elections.

 

At the same time, the Minister of Interior of Iran has asked all the people of this country to attend the voting booths in the early hours of the day and show the strength and authority of the Iranian nation once again with their votes.
