He considered the role of the European Union in Afghanistan’s issues to be important and stressed the need for continued assistance to Afghanistan in the fields of health, education and infrastructure construction.
According to the statement, Iodice in turn emphasized the need for the expansion of EU’s relations with Afghanistan and assured Kabir of the EU’s continued humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan.
She added that Afghanistan is a victim of climate change and the international community needs to pay special attention to Afghanistan and provide necessary assistance to prevent climate change effects.
