Iran, Afghanistan discuss legal, judicial cooperation
Acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi met with a high-ranking Iranian judicial delegation and discussed issues of mutual interest in a meeting in the Afghan capital of Kabul.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Takal said that the two sides talked about the rights of Afghan immigrants, the political and security situation, and solving the issues facing the prisoners, including the implementation of the agreement on prisoner transfers and the establishment of an alternative mechanism for those prisoners sentenced to death.
 
He stated that Gharibabadi pledged Iran’s cooperation with the Islamic Emirate in the judicial sectors and that Tehran has a serious position regarding the torture of Afghan immigrants in Iran and that required actions will be made in this area by the sharing of information.
