Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Maulana Fazal Rehman, Chairman of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan, arrived in Kabul on Sunday (January 7) with the aim of improving relations between Afghanistan and Pakistan and met with Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund, Prime Minister and Abdul Kabir, Political Deputy of the Islamic Emirate.

The leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan has discussed the situation of Afghan immigrants in Pakistan, resolving tensions between Kabul and Islamabad, and the TTP issue in separate meetings with Prime Minister Mullah Muhammad Hassan Akhund and his political deputy Maulvi Abdul Kabir.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, said that in these meetings, it was emphasized that Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan or TTP is Pakistan's internal issue and this country (Pakistan) should deal with this issue.

Mr. Mujahid added: "TTP does not exist in Afghanistan either." This is Pakistan's issue and they should solve this issue in their own country and understand the security issues themselves."

Speaking to AVA, political analyst Ahmad Zaki Qureshi said that the visit of the head of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan as a cleric to Afghanistan will provide the basis for more talks between Kabul and Islamabad to resolve the tension, because in the current situation, there is no other way except dialogue. There is no other solution to resolve the tension between the government of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

He emphasized: Pakistan has been facing an economic and political crisis for more than three years, and for this reason, the country's leaders have come to the understanding that there is no other way to resolve the tension with Afghanistan except through dialogue.

Emphasizing that direct dialogue and negotiation between the two countries can help resolve tensions, this political analyst added that in diplomacy, common points and opposing opinions of both sides are identified and efforts are made to reach agreements acceptable to both sides.

Mr. Qureshi also pointed out that diplomacy helps Afghanistan and Pakistan to achieve their interests and at the same time prevent violations of international laws, because neither of these two countries will achieve their interests with tension and war.

Meanwhile, Ramin Ahmadzai, an expert on international relations, also told AVA that in the current situation, the best option to resolve the tension between the countries of the world is diplomacy, therefore the political leaders of Pakistan came to the conclusion that in order to protect their interests and resolve the tension with the Emirates Islam to enter the conversation.

He emphasized that if the government of Pakistan follows the policy of Western countries, especially the United States and England, and does not stop the tension in Afghanistan, Pakistan will suffer more than Afghanistan, because this country is facing an economic and political crisis.

Ahmadzai added that both countries are facing the problem of terrorism and if they do not cooperate in the war against terrorist groups and stop the tension, the activities of terrorist groups will expand in Afghanistan and Pakistan, therefore, resolving the tension and cooperating on maintaining the security of both country and preventing the spread of terrorism is very important.

It should be mentioned that high-ranking delegations of Pakistan had arrived in Kabul before to resolve the tension between Afghanistan and Pakistan, but so far they have not reached a result that was acceptable to both sides.
