Mosques and Madrassas Should Remain free
Some clerics would follow wrong government policies, and in order for the scholars to speak the truth and not be influenced by anyone, it is necessary to keep madrassas and mosques free and independent. Acting Minister of Refugees and Repatriation Khalil-ur-Rahman Haqqani said.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Speaking at a graduation ceremony in a madrassa in Logar province, Haqqani emphasized that madrassas in remote areas should be strengthened and people should continue to support them, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation.
 
He said that students should be trained in such a way that they could always defend the truth.
 
Haqqani advised the graduating scholars to prioritize common issues instead of controversial ones, and strive for unity of the people.
 
Haqqani also visited the provincial directorate of refugees where he said that regardless of religion or sect, people have rights over the Islamic Emirate and the Islamic Emirate is responsible towards them.
