Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: On Monday, the Ministry of Immigrants and Returnees has written in the X page that 600 immigrants returned to the country through Torkham and Spin Boldak.
According to the report of Torkham Border Directorate of Nangarhar Province, 57 families, including 318 people, were forcibly returned to the country from the mentioned border and after registering with the Immigration Department, they were introduced to the offices of the United Nations High Commissioner and the International Organization for Migration.
According to the information of Spin Boldak Border Directorate of Kandahar province, 55 other families, including 273 people, were forcibly returned to the country.
According to the border commander of Spin Boldek, these migrants were introduced to the offices of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the World Food Organization and the International Organization for Migration for further assistance after being registered in the mandated committees.
Also, an amount of 10,000 Afghanis was distributed to each family by the responsible committee.
It should be noted that the deportation of undocumented Afghan immigrants from Pakistan continues.
