The US State Department has announced that it has set up an emergency hotline for Afghan refugees in Pakistan who are waiting to be transferred to the United States.

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Department of South and Central Asian Affairs of the US State Department has placed two numbers on its X page - one for telephone conversations and the other for sending messages through WhatsApp.
These numbers are available from Monday to Saturday from 8 am to midnight Islamabad time.
This action takes place while Pakistan has started deporting undocumented immigrants.
Hundreds of thousands of Afghan refugees have been returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan.
