UN Secretary General: Afghanistan should join the world system based on a solution

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The Secretary General of the United Nations has suggested that bilateral and multilateral security cooperation should be supported to gradually pave the way for the resumption of Afghanistan's current diplomatic relations.

 

In his assessment, Mr. Guterres asked Zhang Jun, the head of the Security Council, that assistance to the urgent needs of Afghans such as health, livelihood and food security should be depoliticized in order to provide the possibility of sustainable assistance.

 

The Secretary-General of the United Nations also stressed the observance of the principle of non-discrimination, women's rights and their contribution in all fields and said that the fundamental rights and freedoms of all Afghans must be respected.

- Increase international aid to Afghans.

 

- Economic dialogues and reforms should be established to remove obstacles to Afghanistan's economic reconstruction.

 

- Trade, transit and other ways to connect Afghanistan with other countries should be activated.

 

- Such activities should be encouraged based on which Afghans know their political, economic, cultural and social rights.

 

According to the report, in order to respond to the concerns caused by the spread of terrorism, the sale of drugs and smuggling from Afghanistan, there should be coordination and cooperation between the interim government of Afghanistan and the world.
