Sixth Polio Case Reported in Nangarhar

 

All the six polio cases this year have been reported in the same province. In response to the escalating situation, the Ministry of Public Health initiated a nationwide polio vaccination program two days ago.

 

It’s worth noting that Afghanistan and Pakistan are the only two countries in the world where the polio virus continues to pose a threat to children’s lives.
