Birthday of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Marked by Afghans in Kabul
To celebrate the Milad-e-Nabi (Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad), Gatherings were held in Kabul and some other province of Afghanistan.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Some religious clerics and Kabul residents emphasized the need to follow in the way of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
 
“The Prophet PBUH is a role model for people in the political, economic and cultural fields,” said Haqparast, a religious cleric.
 
“Sirat-Un-Nabi (Life of the Prophet) should be taught to boys and girls, and they should study it,” said Ahmadullah, another religious cleric.
 
Some residents of Kabul said that every year they celebrate this day with charity.
 
“People arrange religious programs on this day because the Prophet was born and also passed away on this day,” said Abdullah, a resident of Kabul.
 
“On this day, brotherhood should be established between Muslims and between Islamic religions, and it is the duty of the clerics to unite people and to remove the differences between Muslims,” said Abdul Rahman, another resident of Kabul.
 
Prophet Muhammad was born in 570 CE in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and became a prophet at the age of 40. Muhammad led the people for 23 years and died at the age of 63.
