Repeating the desecration of the Holy Quran by the head of the anti-Islamic group in the Netherlands
On Saturday, the head of the anti-Islamic group known as Pegida once again tore up a copy of the Quran in front of the Turkish Embassy in the Netherlands in a heinous act.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Edwin Wagensold, head of the anti-Islamic group Pegida, who had previously desecrated the Quran outside the embassies of Pakistan, Indonesia and Denmark in The Hague, insulted Islam and Muslims on Saturday.

Desecration of the Holy Quran has been repeated many times in recent months in European countries and continues despite the protest reactions of Islamic countries and international organizations.

Islamophobia and insulting the sanctities and religious beliefs of Muslims has become a practice in Europe, and the reaction of the governments and institutions of the western countries is only limited to rhetoric, and even some western governments interpreted it as freedom of expression, and this is a license To continue this behavior has become heinous.

In the latest response to this issue, which also drew the support of Arab and Islamic countries, the speech of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, was at the 78th General Assembly of the United Nations, where he began his speech by reciting verses He said, "The Quran will never burn, it is eternal."

At the same time, Raisi devoted the beginning of his discussion to the issue of Quran burning in Europe, which in recent months has been repeated more than 10 times by radical and extremist people in the three countries of Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands.

The insulting action of the European governments in issuing permission to burn Koran is more of a political game than it is in line with the freedom of expression.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) last month called on its member states to take appropriate political and economic measures against Sweden and other countries where the burning of Muslim holy books is allowed.
