Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, told TOLO News that with the aim of not harming the country's businessmen and not relying on a transit route, the efforts to develop the activity of Iran's Chabahar port have been increased by the Islamic Emirate.
He emphasized that with the increase of capacity in Chabahar port and the activation of the railway of this route with Afghanistan, the problems of merchants will be solved to a large extent.
The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate added: "In general, we must say that we are trying to prevent losses to our traders. And our traders should not rely on one country, one path and one way. Now Chabahar is active and our traders use its capacity."
At the same time, Akhundzadeh Abdulsalam Javad, the spokesman of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, also said: The business plans of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan are based on diversity, the Ministry of Industry and Trade is advancing the plans in parallel, our intention is good, friendly relations based on economic benefits and good neighborliness.
However, the Chamber of Commerce and Investment still says that by solving the challenges in Chabahar port, Afghanistan's international trade and transit process will also be further developed.
Khan Mohammad Sarfraz Baz, the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretariat, said: "In order to resolve the technical issues of Chabahar, the government of the Islamic Emirate should act as soon as possible so that we have an alternative way, which means that our trade and our transit and exports Political issues are always hunted with neighboring countries.
Earlier, the officials of the Afghanistan Railway Department announced the completion of the Chabahar-Nimroz railway project as soon as possible and called this project one of the fundamental priorities of this department for the development of trade and transit and to facilitate the transportation of commercial goods between Kabul and Tehran.
