The release of 23 Afghan nationals from Pakistani prisons
23 Afghan nationals, who were imprisoned in Pakistani prisons, were recently released from prison and returned home through Torkham border.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Migrants and Returnees, Tuesday, September 4, published this news saying that the prisoners were imprisoned in Pakistani prisons for one to three months and after being released through Torkham returned home.
 
It has also been said that after registering in the Immigration Department, they were introduced to the office of the International Organization for Migration and got the fare back to their original places.
 
It is stated in the newsletter that two children under the age of 18 were introduced to the Afghan Reconstruction Institute in Boland in order to identify them to their families.
 
It should be mentioned that hundreds of citizens of the country are imprisoned in Pakistani prisons due to lack of residency documents.
