Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Pakistani media today (Sunday, September 3) quoted the country's Institute of War and Security Studies and wrote that in August, Pakistan witnessed 99 terrorist incidents.
This institute said that this figure is the highest figure in a month since November 2014.
According to the report of this institute, these attacks have killed 112 people and injured 86 others, and have mainly targeted security forces and Pakistani civilians.
The Pakistan Institute of War and Security Studies added in its report that four of the attacks that occurred in August in this country were suicide attacks, three of which occurred in the tribal areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and one in the main areas of this state.
According to the report of Pakistan's Institute of War and Security Studies, the country witnessed a total of 22 suicide attacks in the first eight months of this year, in which 227 people were killed and 497 were injured.
In the report of this organization, it is stated that the states of Baluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the tribal areas of this country have suffered the most violence this month and have witnessed an increase in attacks and insecurity.
The report states that the Pakistani security forces were the main target of these attacks and accounted for 50% of the total number of dead and 63% of the total number of wounded.
According to the report of this Pakistani institution, the casualties of the country's security forces increased by 51% in August.
After the end of the ceasefire between Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the army of that country in November last year, armed attacks have increased in that country.
In recent months, Pakistani officials have accused Afghanistan of harboring the country's dissidents, an issue that has always been denied by Kabul.
