Japan Pledges Continued Cooperation in Afghanistan’s Agriculture Sector
The Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock, met with Japan Ambassador and Deputy Ambassador Hirotaka Kawakami in Afghanistan.

The Acting Minister of Agriculture discussed Afghanistan’s needs in grain production, water management, natural resource protection, and other fields. He requested Japan’s assistance in these areas.
 
The Japanese envoy pledged that his country’s assistance with the development of agricultural, irrigation, and horticulture projects in Afghanistan will continue.
 
The Japanese ambassador pledged to cooperate in the completion of half-finished projects in Afghanistan, expressing his satisfaction with the country’s steady stability.
