Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Kabul: The press office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock has announced that Maulavi Ataullah Omari, acting minister of the ministry, met with Takashi Okada, the ambassador and Hirotaka Kawakami, the deputy ambassador of Japan in Afghanistan.
In this meeting, the two sides discussed the development of agriculture, horticulture and livestock, and the ambassador of Japan announced the continuation of cooperation, increase in financial aid and completion of half-finished projects of this country.
The ambassador of Japan assured the Acting Ministry of Agriculture of the continuation of his country's cooperation in the implementation of agricultural, irrigation and horticulture projects in Afghanistan.
Expressing his satisfaction with the provision of national security in Afghanistan, he pledged that he will work to complete half-finished projects in Afghanistan.
Acting Minister of Agriculture talked about the needs of Afghanistan in the fields of grain production, water management, protection of natural resources and other sectors and requested the cooperation of Japan in these sectors.
