Water-supply project provides clean water in Kandahar
According to a state media, construction of a water supplying network has been completed and inaugurated in Kandahar province.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, The contraction project was completed at a cost of 8,113,000 Afghanis (about 100,000 U.S. dollars); the network will provide clean drinking water to about 100 households, the state-run news agency Bakhtar added.
 
Similarly, Afghan authorities opened six water supply networks in west Afghanistan's Farah province on Monday.
 
As part of efforts to rebuild war-torn Afghanistan, the Afghan caretaker government, besides launching some development projects, has also called upon national and international companies to invest and create job opportunities for the poverty-stricken Afghans.
