Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_Monitoring, Mufti Muhammad Khan, head of the Statistics and Information Department of the province, told Bakhtar News Agency that in the first five months of the 1402 solar year, the Population Registration Office under the framework of the Department of Statistics and Information distributed 13,000 paper identity cards.
He added that 250 people have been biometrically tested daily for electronic ID cards and the issuance of the national ID generated 16,575,200 Afghanis in revenue.
According to local officials, more than 2,000 applicants visit this department every day for a variety of services including their application for ID cards.
