The common border between Iran and Afghanistan is guarded with highly advanced equipment!

Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) - Tehran: "General Kyomorth Heydari", the commander of the ground forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, told IRNA reporter on Tuesday, August 8, on the sidelines of the final meeting of the Holy Quran competition of the families of the ground forces of this country in the holy city of Mashhad. The ground forces of the Iranian army are stationed with authority and advanced equipment in the borders, especially in the northeast of this country and the common border with Afghanistan.
 
He added: "With advanced and mechanized border guards, we are witnessing the establishment of stable security. The common border with Afghanistan is guarded with highly advanced mechanized equipment, including sensors, cameras, balloons, and drones."
 
The Commander of the Ground Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stating that they hold various specialized and general military exercises throughout the year, added: Today, an exercise (military exercise) of the units of the Iranian Ground Forces was held in the Torbetjam region, and the last Defense achievements and capabilities were presented in this exercise.
 
This is despite the fact that during the past two years we have witnessed some border conflicts between Afghanistan and Iran, which have practically ended with the increase of coordination and negotiations between the senior military and border guard officials of the two countries.
