Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): A citizen in Mugla province of Turkey accidentally realized that the Qibla direction of a mosque was wrong since its construction about 47 years ago.
This error was discovered thanks to an application that made it possible to determine the correct direction from space and forced citizens to go to Dar Al-Afta of the region.
Dar al-Afta, after the necessary investigations, confirmed the mistake in the direction in which the worshipers were praying in the mosque.
After discovering this incredible and strange mistake, the Qibla direction was adjusted to the correct direction.
Since the people of the mosque considered the task of destruction heavy, they marked the qibla with a carpet and the worshipers of the mosque started praying in the direction of the newly determined qibla.
