2,000 People Work in Panjshir Infrastructural Projects
Local officials said that, around 2,000 individuals have been provided with work opportunities by their engagement in multiple ongoing development projects in Panjshir.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA)_MONITORING, These individuals work on public utility projects such as the construction of water supply networks, dams, retaining walls, religious schools, roads, riverbank reinforcement, and the restoration of irrigation canals.
 
Panjshir information and culture director, Mawlana Nasrullah Malikzada said that the projects being implemented in the province were previously planned and funded by charitable organizations, said Malikzada.
 
Ahmad Shah, a resident of the Shatal district who works in a riverbank maintaining project, said he receives 400 afghanis a day, which helps him to provide for his family’s essential needs.
 
He urged Islamic Emirate officials to enhance the implementation of development projects in the district, which would help the region’s development while also improving the local people’s economy.
