Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, the Minister of Defense of the Islamic Emirate, stated in an exclusive interview with "Al-Arabiya" on Friday, July 21, the government of the Islamic Emirate will not allow anyone to threaten the world from within the territory of Afghanistan. He called the international reports about the presence of al-Qaeda elements as advisers to the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan "Propaganda".
He also added that the Islamic Emirate does not need any kind of cooperation or negotiation with Washington.
Mr. Mujahid added that Afghanistan has a long border with Iran and the Islamic Emirate "does not want any problems with it or other neighbors".
Acting Minister of Defense also said that the government of the Islamic Emirate is committed to not using Afghanistan's soil to attack any country.
He also announced the origin of most of the planes that violate Afghan airspace from Pakistan.
The Minister of Defense of the Islamic Emirate considered the Daesh group to be a sedition against the Islamic Ummah and announced the heavy strikes of the Islamic Emirate forces against the Khorasan Daesh group in Afghanistan and emphasized the absence of any Daesh elements in the ranks of the Emirate.
Mr. Mujahid also denied the existence of any connection between the Islamic Emirate and the attack on Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of al-Qaeda in Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, and added: "We have not killed anyone without trial, but there are those who have been killed by conflicts."
Mullah Yaqob also emphasized that the Islamic Emirate not only did not issue an order to kill Ashraf Ghani, the former president of Afghanistan, after the withdrawal of American forces, but also "did not attach any importance to him".
