Tobias Ellwood deleted his video clip about Afghanistan
Tobias Ellwood, a senior member of the British Parliament, deleted his video clip in which he praised the Islamic Emirate, following the criticism of his colleagues.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA): Mr. Ellwood said in this video clip that he published on Twitter that the security situation in Afghanistan has improved under the administration of the Islamic Emirate, administrative corruption has decreased and the drug trade has ended.

Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesman of the Islamic Emirate, also published this video on his Twitter page and said that in fact "much better things have been done than this".

Mr. Ellwood has since removed the video and said in a television interview: "It's important to hold your hand up and admit mistakes, even if the intentions were good."

"I will stand up, I will speak my mind," he said. "I try to find solutions, especially on the international stage, and I am very sorry that my reflection of my trip could have been much better."

Mr. Ellwood added: "I'll be very clear that the past few days have probably been the worst days for me as an MP. I made a mistake."

In his video clip, Mr. Ellwood still called for the reopening of the British Embassy in Kabul and interaction with the Islamic Emirate.
