Turkish coastal patrol rescued 84 Afghan refugees in the Aegean Sea
Turkish coastal patrol has saved 84 Afghan refugees from drowning in the Aegean Sea.
Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) Kabul: According to reports, this group of Afghan refugees have moved from Greece to Turkish territorial waters in rubber boats and were in danger of death in the Aegean Sea and on the coast of Ayvacik in northwestern Turkey.
 
The rescued asylum seekers were transferred to the Turkish Immigration Office.
 
In recent months, there have been many news about the drowning of the boat of Afghan refugees crossing the sea to reach Europe.
 
Turkey is an important transit point for asylum seekers and illegal immigrants who go to Europe hoping for a better and prosperous life.
